David Greenspan (KCJS4 1992-93, Harvard University ) is a director of television, film, and digital content with a strong background in editing and post-production. His USC thesis film, BEAN CAKE, won the Palme d'Or at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival. David's first feature, a dark comedy called 51/50 Mall Cop, premiered in competition at the 2005 Slamdance Film Festival. In 2012 David had the honor of being on the short film jury at Slamdance where his short film, SOMEWHERE IN THE VALLEY, had its world premiere.
David has worked as an editor and director on multiple seasons of Shonda Rhimes' hit show, GREY'S ANATOMY.
He currently works as an editor and director on the GREY'S ANATOMY spinoff, STATION 19. His other editing credits include EMPIRE, SCANDAL, HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER, PITCH, MURDER IN THE FIRST, and IMPULSE.
