The Center for Undergraduate Global Engagement (UGE) is pleased to announce Global Learning Summer Scholarships to help students fund their participation in a global learning opportunity this summer. These scholarships will be applied toward tuition charges for individual programs offered through UGE.
Eligibility:
Open to undergraduate students from General Studies, Columbia College, and SEAS who demonstrate financial need
Recipients must be accepted to one of the following Columbia-Led programs
- Global Virtual Bootcamp on Neuroscience of Consciousness
- Summer Ecosystem Experiences for Undergraduates (SEE-U) NYC
- Virtual Kyoto (KCJS) Summer: Modern Japanese
- Virtual Kyoto (KCJS) Summer: Classical Japanese
- Columbia Summer in Paris
- Virtual Columbia Summer: Chinese Language
- Global Summer Research Practicum in Global Behavioral Science
To Apply: Scholarship applications will be made available to students once they have opened a qualifying UGE program application.
Scholarship Applications Due: March 28 (closes at 11:59 pm EST)

- Virtual Columbia Summer Research Practicum in Public Humanities & Hellenic Studies-- funding provided by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Public Humanities Initiative
- Virtual Yiddish Studies Program-- funding provided by the Naomi Prawer Kadar Fellowship
- Virtual Undergraduate Math Research Program
- Virtual Exchange: Global Columbia Collaboratory
