CIEE China: Advanced Chinese Studies in Beijing is available for advanced language students during the fall, spring and academic year. The program provides students with the opportunity to directly enroll in courses at Peking University while living in either a residence hall or a homestay setting.
The program is based at Peking University. Students take several courses at Peking University, alongside local students as well as enroll in one course through CIEE that focuses on language study. Many courses are available directly at Peking University, which include, but is not limited to: biology, chemistry, economics, East Asian Studies, history, mathematics, physics and political science.
Students are able to live in a homestay or a residence hall on campus. The homestay option would provide ample language learning opportunities. The residence hall would enable students to live with fellow CIEE students and international students studying at Peking University.
