Study over the summer at Humboldt University in a language-intensive German program. Funding and additional application information can be obtained from the Columbia University Department of Germanic Languages. In order to be eligible for the funding, you MUST apply directly with the Columbia University Department of Germanic Languages by March 1st.
The summer program at Humboldt University enables you to immerse yourself more fully in the German language.
SEAS students may also take courses in English. Columbia College and SEAS students have different summer transfer credit rules, especially for courses taught in English. Students interested in this program should review summer transfer credit eligibility to help determine which courses offered on the summer program will be eligible for transfer credit.
