As international students/ scholars, we all have unique stories about our journeys abroad. However, regardless of where we are from, we all share similarities within our stories that help us relate to one another. By engaging in dialogue, we are able to discover those similarities and learn about the differences that make each of our stories unique. This is why we are inviting you to join ISSO in collaboration with the office of Multicultural Affairs, for the screening of Brief Tender Light during International Education Week (IEW).
Brief Tender Light is directed by a Ghanaian MIT alum, Arthur Musah, who will be joining us for the film screening! In the film, Arthur follows four African students at MIT as they navigate their new lives in the U.S. while striving to make positive change back home. Their experiences are relatable to many international students. After the screening, we will have a film discussion and a Q&A session with the director!
