Accelerated French in Paris is a very fast paced, demanding program at Reid Hall focused on French grammar and there is a lot to organize when you arrive. My #1 recommendation to all future students would be to immediately buy yourself a monthly Navigo pass for the Metro and find yourself a good library. Reid Hall has a wonderful library of its own but there are many public libraries that are also accessible to visiting students. I spent most of my time in Bibliothèque National de France (BnF) and Bibliothèque Saint-Genvieve. They are both amazing for different reasons and there are many others. Saint-Genvieve is a university library of the universities of Paris, located across from the Panthéon. My personal recommendation would be to visit BnF and see for yourself. Think of me as your personal library guide. If you want to know more, please reach out.
