International Education Week (IEW)

This year during International Education Week (IEW), the Center of Undergraduate Global Engagement would like to celebrate with you all the benefits of participating in global experiences! From Monday, November 14th, 2022, to Friday, November 18th, 2022, we will be organizing events to connect and promote opportunities for global engagement across Columbia and around the world.

Monday, November 14th, 2022, from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM (GMT-5) | Global Columbia Collaboratory Student Project Showcase | Zoom
Join us as the Collaboratory students will present their work and learning, highlighting the awareness campaign developed in partnership with local NGOs. The presentations will be hosted via Zoom, so please use this link.

Wednesday, November 16th, 2022, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM (EST) | Global Café | 2nd Fl Ramps in Lerner Hall
Celebrate the global experiences here on Columbia's campus during the Global Café! This event, hosted by Multicultural Affairs, will offer free drinks and snacks from cultural student organizations and campus offices along the 2nd Fl Ramps in Lerner Hall! We will also be tabling at the event, so make sure to join us!

Friday, November 18th, 2022, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM (EST) | Meet the Global Learning Ambassadors | College Walk
Chat with our Global Learning Ambassadors (GLAs) on College Walk to take your goals global! GLAs are student leaders on campus supporting the conversation around global engagement. Whether they are sharing their former study abroad experience or facilitating dialogues around globally-minded topics, they are eager to talk with you about what programs we offer and the general study abroad process! Snacks will be available, so stop by to meet these incredible GLAs!
