Overview

This study abroad program through partnership with IFSA allows you to take courses at University College Dublin. Ireland's largest university, University College Dublin is a research-intensive university with a reputation for teaching excellence. University College Dublin offers a wide variety of subjects. You will live in on campus housing.

Academics

Founded in the mid-19th century, University College Dublin (UCD) has a long and distinguished tradition of service to scholarship and teaching. You can choose from hundreds of courses each semester in a full range of disciplines. Popular subjects include Architecture, English, Irish Studies, Politics and Engineering. You must apply to one of UCD’s Study Abroad Programmes, where you will take the majority of your courses. Programmes include Architecture and Planning, Arts & Humanities, Engineering and Science. Full-degree Irish students traditionally study only one subject during their undergraduate career. As a visiting student, you should take the majority of courses within your Programme but can take up to two elective classes outside of it. You must meet any course prerequisites.

Program Features

Dublin is a student friendly city full of exciting culture and nightlife. The main campus of University College Dublin is situated at Belfield, a wooded campus located just south of the center of Dublin city. You will live in on campus housing alongside Irish and international students. You will have access to all of the campus facilities and student organizations.
