The Wellesley-in-Aix program offers an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself academically, linguistically, and culturally in vibrant southern France. You have the opportunity to enroll directly at Aix-Marseille Université or Sciences Po-Aix for a majority of your coursework. In order to participate, you need to complete at least 5-6 semesters of French, or the equivalent, prior to departure.
Study at the Aix-Marseille Université, which is one of the largest and most distinguished universities in France. During the term, you will take at least two university courses at Aix-Marseille Université or Sciences Po-Aix with French local students. These universities offer a wide range of courses to accommodate many majors, such as French Literature, Art History, Linguistics, Economics, and Psychology.
You can choose to take the remainder of your courses either at the university or through core courses offered by the program, Wellesley-in-Aix that are taught by local French professors.
You have the option to live in an apartment or with a host family selected by the program.
In addition, Wellesley-in-Aix hosts various cultural activities and excursions to enable you to more fully immerse yourself in the French culture and surrounding community.
