My study abroad was incredibly fruitful, as I learned a lot both inside and outside the classroom. The Columbia Summer in Paris program’s thought-provoking seminars, numerous guest speakers, and engaging classroom excursions made me more knowledgeable about the subjects I studied and helped hone my ability to think critically and creatively.
Outside the classroom, I made incredible friendships, fell in love with French culture, and learned more about myself in a short time frame than I ever thought possible. My summer in Paris gifted me some of my fondest memories to date, and I’m incredibly grateful for my study abroad experience.
