Suspension of study abroad until August 14, 2020

Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on worldwide travel restrictions and global health risks, Undergraduate Global Engagement will be suspending Columbia student onsite participation in all for-credit study abroad programs starting before August 14, 2020. This decision is based on the health and safety concerns associated with global and domestic travel and the uncertainty of conditions in various countries abroad. This decision follows the guidance of the Provost’s suspension of all upcoming student travel outside of the U.S. which is organized, led, or financed by Columbia. This suspension includes both Columbia-led and Columbia-approved programs.

Students should contact a UGE adviser to discuss other future global opportunities with the Center for Undergraduate Global Engagement.
