Hello everyone! I’m Zipporah- an International student from London and a Senior in CC studying Film and English Literature! This past spring semester, I studied abroad in Prague as a part of CIEE’s Film Program alongside FAMU. During my 2023 summer, I also participated in Columbia’s Core in Paris program, taking both Art and Music Humanities.

As a part of the CIEE Film Program, I was able to study at FAMU – one of the oldest film schools in the world – and learn the Czech language and customs. From visiting local towns like Broumov and Cesky Krumlov to visiting the State Opera and boating on the Vltava, I had an amazing experience! During the weekdays, I would be location scouting, rehearsing with actors, and editing our screenplay as co-director on a short film. But during the weekends, I would try new foods at the local farmers market, enjoy live sets at Jazz Republic, or even hop on a flight to the neighboring country.
