"I gained essential skills during my time abroad that I will take into my future endeavors. I find that my intellectual curiosity was enhanced and deepened because I was able to explore a topic I already had an interest in but did not quite yet have experience in."

Thanks to the GLS, I was able to participate in global research in affiliation with Princeton University hosted at the University of Cambridge, where I conducted cross-border research examining if AI chatbots can persuade or dissuade people for or against certain climate policies.

This experience was life-changing and opened me up to so many options. I gained essential skills during my time abroad that I will take into my future endeavors. I find that my intellectual curiosity was enhanced and deepened because I was able to explore a topic I already had an interest in but did not quite yet have experience in. I can now confidently say I have a deeper understanding of psychology and the research process. I am extremely excited to have contributed to relevant research that could potentially have policy effects in multiple countries.

I gained hands-on research experience and learned essential programming skills for data analysis and visualization.

These are skills I will carry to future research fellowships and ultimately a PhD. I am also extremely grateful for the connections I made with my wonderful supervisors, the other junior researchers in my cohort, and the amazing people of the Junior Research Programme. Thank you so much, as this has truly been a life-changing experience.
